Events on the Western Front formed an indelible impression on Australia. Eighty-five years later, echoes of Australia are still felt across the fields of France and Belgium, and a visit is a moving experience for any Aussie.

These pages will show you how to make the most of a visit to the Western Front and see the battlefields from an Australian perspective. I strongly encourage all Australians to make this pilgrimage at least once and I will be happy to help wherever I can. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

What's all this about?
What will I see when I get there?
Where should I go and how much time will it take?
When should I go? What should I take with me?
How am I going to get around? Where should I stay?
What should I see at Polygon Wood, Ypres,
Passchendaele, Fromelles, Pozieres, Bullecourt,
Mouquet Farm and Villers-Bretonneaux/Hamel?
